Beautiful song, amazingly beautiful words.  Yesterday, I listened to this.  Have listened to this song since I was a child.  My mom had one of those old-fashioned record players, and in her collection used to be an album of songs by Jagjit and Chitra Singh.  I remember her feeling almost emotional listening to this song, and as a child I used to wonder why.  Now, I know.  Only as an adult, only after all the things you go through in this thing called life, would you resonate with this song.  And of course, Jagjit Singh's (may his soul rest in peace) voice takes you to a different zone altogether.
