imperfection

How imperfect we are.  All of us.  Everyone of us.  Despite the best of intentions, or the loftiest of philosophies, or the most righteous of aspirations, we are all just potent masses of imperfection.  Completely human, at the end of the day.  Looking around, you will see this everywhere, in everyone.  Even the ones that you admire, or look up to, will have a ton of room for improvement (despite subjective frameworks of what 'improvement' constitutes) on multiple dimensions.  In so many spheres of one's life, will there be regret about past actions, and despite resolutions of changed future behavior, the imperfections will continue.  And then again, even knowing this, and seeing this, and experiencing this, how ready we are to overlook this, in our self as well as the ones we love.  Why?  Again, because we are human?  And because no matter how much you can rationalize things, in the end, subjectivity does play such a huge part in the scheme of things?  Or because to forgive, and overlook, is a way of the human nature?  Or because we know that no one can be perfect, no matter what?  Because, to be human is to be that inevitable blend of perfection and imperfection, always, and no matter what..
